Happy New Year and 2011 goals

First off I want to say Happy New Year to everyone and I wish you all the best and everyone has a great successful 2011. Let me get the results out of the way. I posted above my Dec results with my highest Roi in a month to date. Next we have our 2010 MTT results which look really good but a super small sample. I hope to add a lot more MTT's to my resume next year. Next we have our SNG results which I must say is looking pretty nice. Last we have our year all game results which if it wasn't for Nick,Bodeye,Nate it would have been negative results rather than positive. These guys along with all the fellow group members helped keep me on the right track through hard times and crazy ups and downs.

Let me tell you I have learned so much about the game this year. Playing as a full time or part time job is not for the weak minded. This game is super stressful at times and if want to be a shark you have to work harder then everyone else and be able to handle some crazy emotional roller coasters. My 2011 poker goals is to play twice as many games as in 2010 and move to the 12's and 24's before the end of the year. Maby sqeeze in a $1500 WSOP event win:) We will see.. I hope the government doesn't stop US players from playing on FT that would suck balls.

Besides poker I look forward to finally paying off my debt and car next year. I want to complete some home improvement projects and get my daughter fully potty trained and ready for pre school. She is getting so big and time is flying so fast I can't believe it. I want to spend a lot more time with family next year as life moves fast and sometimes we are so busy and hectic that we need to put on the breaks sometimes.

November updates

Hi guys,
It has been one hell of a month with some crazy ups and downs but at least more ups than downs. I was able to get in my 500 games which is good. I have not done as much studying and review as I would like but that is my goal for Dec. I must review at least one hand history before each session. I have not smoked a cig for a month now. I have also been loving my new PS3 game COD black ops that shit is tight. I am addicted to zombie mode. I am also excited and a big thank you to my mom for purchasing my new kitchen table set for Xmas it is sick. I will post a pic when it gets delivered.

What a week

Well first off let me say I am going to start writing more blogs now at least once a week. I would also like to give a big congrats to Manny for dominating on Sat night a guy 17lbs bigger then him. That guy can stick and move but I still think he should have went for the KO in the 12th round. I also quit smoking weed havent smoked for going on a week now which I know isn't much but I plan to keep it this way. It's time to stop wasting my money and brain on it. Still working on the cigarett quit mission.

As far as poker goes it has been a hell of a roller coaster week. Especially Sunday was the worst luck I have seen in a while. Every flip wheather I was ahead or behind I lost when it counted on the bubble or the final table. I have never seen AA on the other side of the fence so many times in one day. This whole week the 6$ games have been doing me dirty. To top it off I managed to lose connection for 20 mins on Wed night while on two bubbles and I think you know the rest of that story. Another thing that tilted me this week is Full Tilt owes me $200 worth of withdraws which I have been waiting since Oct 24th for and my last week withdraw for $300 was put back in to my account because they are having problems with their check company.

In the end I know this is all part of the variance of the game and I hope next week will be a better one. You can see my results up top for Sunday and the week. Good luck to all of you and see you at the tables. Until next time peace...

Aug and Sep updates

Hi Everyone,
its been a couple months since this I have updated but there has been alot going on from first of all putting in volume and studying my ass off to watching Rainman Poker come to an end. It kinda sucks but what can you do. I am learning alot from Bignate and I have moved up to mixing $6 90 mans into my regular games since they don't fill fast enough to just play 6's.

As you can see Aug was not that great but it was due to alot of tweaking of my game and just being rushed to put in volume since I was kinda lazy. But in Sep I finally woke up and did somthing right. I really feel I worked hard in Sep and my results show it. I finally have been able to win more rather then get 2nd place. Hopefully I can keep it consistant and keep eating all these fish at the 3 and 6 limits and move to the 12's in the next couple months. Watch out all you regs I will see you guys soon.

JUNE AND JULY RESULTS

SO I HAD A COUPLE PRETTY GOOD MONTHS. I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO GET A 400+ GAME MONTH SINCE FEB SO THAT IS GOOD FOR ME. IN AUG I PLAN ON PLAYING A MIN OF 700 GAMES AND THIS IS THE REQUIREMENT FOR MY NEW COACH BIGNATE904 SO I SHOULD HAVE NO PROBLEM HITTING THAT NUMBER. I ALSO WANT TO THANK NICK AND BODEYE FOR ALL THE WEBINARS THIS PAST 3 MONTHS. I LEARNED ALOT FROM THEM BUT I FEEL I NEED PERSONAL LIVE COACHING. I WILL CONTINUE TO WATCH AND STUDY THE RAINMANPOKER WEBINARS AS WELL AS I FEEL ANY INFO I CAN GET MY MIND ON WILL ONLY HELP MY GAME IN THE LONG RUN. I MUST SAY ONE THING I HAVE LEARNED IN THE LAST FEW MONTHS IS THAT POKER IS NOT ALL FUN AND GAMES. OK April Welcome May

Hello Everyone,
It was a pretty good April for me poker wise even though I wasnt able to put in the volume I wanted. I did however take 1st in the Planet Hollywood nightly $75 for a nice $472 prize. I was also able to finish the month with a higher ROI then March of 29%. I also was able to purchase my daughters first sand box which she cant get enough of now. It's so great to see that smile on her face.

I am also looking forward to the next three months of my Rainman Poker training.
I plan to soak up as much poker knowledge as possible and be on my way to making more money than I can count. Now on to my May goals:

. Play 600 games

. spend one hour of poker study before each session.

. Attend all Rain man sessions.

. Dont smoke cigaretts for the entire month.

. Go to the gym three times a week.

. Buy a new kitchen table set.

BOOM I FLOP THE NUT STRAIGHT WITH A FLUSH DRAW AND GET ALL IN AGAINST THE AK OF CLUBS. GOOD THINNG FOR ME I HELD UP AND MADE THE MONEY. THEN SINCE I WAS PLAYING SOME OF THE SOFTEST PLAYERS I HAVE SEEN I FOUND MYSELF HEADS UP AS THE CHIP LEADER DRUNK AS FUCK WHEN MY TRIP 4'S HELD UP AGAINST TOP PAIR FOR THE 472$ FIRST PLACE WIN. LET ME ALSO REMIND YOU THIS IS MY FIRST CASINO LIVE CASH EVER.. WAIT THATS NOT IT NEXT DAY I WAS AT BILLS CASINO IN THE 30$ BUYIN WITH 16 ENTRANTS AND MANAGED TO TAKE 2ND PLACE FOR 108$. March is over welcome April and new Goals

Well I must say March was not the greatest month for me poker wise. It was a break even to slight loosing month but it was not just due to bad luck, I didnt play the volume I wanted and I played on a very bad schedule. I am much looking forward to April because I have alot of goals for this month in mind and it will be my fist time going to vegas on the 15-19th. I am very excited and cant wait to get the hell outta here for a few days.

APRIL GOALS:

PLAY 600 GAMES
MAKE A PROFIT

Back From the Dead

Hello All,
I am now back from the dead after a week of much needed rest from the game. I saw myself not giving my 100% focus and needed to take some time off away from the tables. I am sad to say though that unless by some miracle I wont be meeting my game volume goal this month but thats ok as I feel my time off will produce better results. We have our coaching session today and I am eager to get to it. Just wanted to let everyone know I am back and ready for action.

NITTY SHITTY

This post is pretty much a reminder to myself that I need to start having the balls to push my edge in my games. Not be a nit and try to just squeeze in the money or move up in pay spots when there is +EV spots that I am missing out on because I am being results oriented/ scared to stick it in when I know I should. I think I really have to drill this concept into my head as this is what seperates the winners from break even/lossers in the long run. Why am I getting coached and advice if I am not going to put it in action. I will say I have improved and been able to push my edge alot more then before my coaching with bodeye but from my 1 on 1 session this morning I still have a long way to go. So I have decided to say fuck it and I dont care about results or if I make the money or not. From now on its play to win or go home. If I see a spot that I know I should be shoving I will be doing it. My goal this week to make sure that I shove every spot that I should regardless of the results. Its time to stop being a little bitch and make something happen. On a side note I have made plans to go to Vegas this April with my girlfriend so that should be alot of fun. It will be my first time out there if anyone has any great suggestions of where to go let me know. I wont be playing much poker there maby a 50$ tourney at Planet Hollywood but besides that I will just be going dummy:) See yah....

Feb was a pretty crazy month for me poker wise. It was a pretty much roller coaster break even month up until the last week where I had went on a pretty good run. I completed my goal of playing 500 games and ended the month with a $375 profit at 27%ROI. I would say this is ok based on the fact that it was my first month ever putting in this much volume of games along with learning how to use table ninja and not playing on a set schedule. You really need to have a straight and focused mind when you play in order to achive max value. I am ready and excited to start a new fresh month and I am ready to work harder then I did last month Lets do it baby.
MARCH GOALS:

PLAY MORE THEN 500 GAMES.

END THE MONTH WITH A 30% OR BETTER ROI.

PLAY 5 DAYS A WEEK ACCORDING TO MY SET BUSINESS SCHEDULE.

GO TO THE GYM 3 DAYS A WEEK.

SO JUST TO GIVE AN UPDATED I AM EXCITED TO SAY THAT LAST NIGHT WAS ONE OF THE BEST SESSIONS I EVER HAD. I PLAYED 30 3$ 90 MAN TOURNEYS AND MADE A TOTAL OF 164$ PROFIT. AFTER A SLOW START THIS MONTH ALONG WITH LEARNING HOW TO MULTI TABLE IT JUST SHOWS THAT IN THE LONG RUN SKILL CREATES SUCCESS. I AM HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE THAT THIS WAS MY MOST PRFITABLE DAY EVER AND THAT I DOUBLED MY 300$ BANKROLL AND WILL BE PAYING MY COACH PACK HIS STAKE. I STILL HAVE 94 TOURNAMENTS TO PLAY THIS MONTH SO ITS NOT OVER YET:) MORE TO COME....

I can still when when I miss click

So as my worst downswing in my poker career continues I managed to get lucky once. I meant to click on another tab on my laptop when this hand popped up when my mouse was right over the raise button. Lukily for me the fish only called instead of shoving like he should and I had no choice but to turn it into a stop and go play on the flop hoping he missed and would fold. Because of his fishy ways he decided to call anyway with nothing and lukily for me I had a 36% chance to win on the flop then a an amazing 22% chance to win on the turn then Boom I guess his summer fun was over but thats what he gets for calling with nothing:)

A NEW WEEK AND NEW GOALS

Well first off I want to give a huge Congrats to the Saints for taking down their first ever super bowl. I knew the colts were not going to be able to handle the Saints because they Saints are running to good. I had a really nice dinner with my girlfriend on Friday at PF changs always a bomb place if you like Asian food. Now to poker. I played 105 games last week missing my Goal of 125 games but I will make it up this week. The Roll is now at $401 and I have 200$ more to make so I can move up in stakes. I hope run better this week as last week was a roller coaster. See my Goals for this week below

Make $100 profit
dont smoke all week.
go to the gym 3 times a week.

IS IT EVER GOING TO END

So on Thurs night I played another 15 of my 3$ 90 man tournaments and got a 9th and 5th place. I ended the session down another 20$ but the good news is I am still up 76$ from my original bank roll which is now at $376. My bad run of cards continues as I cant cant seem to win weather its with the best hand or the worst. I know I just have to tough it out and play through it. I will be taking a break from the tables tonight because I need to get my mind off the bad beats and I am taking my girlfriend out for a nice dinner at PF changs our favorite spot. At least its Friday so I can have a couple nice days off from my day job. Thats it for now more to come soon.....

Poker is a CRAZY game

All I have to say is poker is a very emotional game and if you cant handle taking some bad beats with out going on tilt then this game is not for you. To give some good examples last night I only cashed in 1/21 of my 90 man tournaments. For some reason I ran like a champ and stole peoples chips like a thief in the night in the final two tables. Then lukily for me I managed to lose 15 times out of 21 tourneys I played having the best hand pre flop. I also mangaed to run into Aces about 4 times when I had AK or KK. So I ended the night only down about 3$ with a win and plenty of rake back so I am not trippen. Also I must add that I set a record for most hands played in one night for me ever at 1,160 hands whooooo haha. Its time to get to work at the regular job so I will have to cut this short. Back and running strong

In case you didnt know I have been given the opportunity to be coached and staked by a couple of the best online tournament players in the world Nick Rainey and my coach bodeye2. I started on Jan 11 of this year. Its amazing how much I have learned and improved my game since then. This month I have been given the chalenge of completing 500 games in Feb which is more then I played all last year. Its going to take alot of hard work but I will make the target for sure and I am well on my way. Last night I played 17 3$ 90 man tournaments and I got a 2nd 4th 7th 7th finish for a total profit of around $46 profit niceeee:) I have my HH history review with the group today so I am looking forward to that. Now its back to the grind bitches.
